Nestled in the heart of Orrville, Ohio, Cedar Lodge #430 Free & Accepted Masons has been a steadfast presence in our community for over 150 years. Chartered in 1869, just one year after the City of Orrville itself was incorporated, our Lodge has grown alongside this town — its industries, its families, and its spirit.

Our founders were men of vision and character — farmers, tradesmen, veterans, and civic leaders — who saw in Freemasonry not just a ritual tradition, but a path for building a better world, starting with themselves. That legacy continues today.

We are proud to be part of the oldest and largest fraternity in the world, with a lineage that reaches back through centuries of builders, philosophers, statesmen, and servants of truth. But we are equally proud to be part of this community — Orrville — where neighbors know each other by name, where values still matter, and where a handshake still means something.

Who We Are

Cedar Lodge is composed of men from all walks of life — young and old, newly raised and long passed the East, united not by status or wealth, but by a shared desire to live with integrity, serve others, and pursue personal growth. Among our members are educators, engineers, entrepreneurs, factory workers, farmers, firefighters, veterans, and pastors — all Brothers bound by the same obligation to truth, brotherly love, and relief.

Our meetings are filled with ritual, reflection, and renewal — a space where men can step away from the noise of the world and engage in meaningful fellowship. But our work does not stop at the Lodge door.
